We were happy to be able to attend this year’s annual conference for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD). This well attended event was held in the Manchester Central Exhibition centre right in the heart of the city.
Our team really enjoyed getting to meet such a variety of professionals from a broad range of sectors, including existing customers and plenty of new faces. We enjoyed it so much that we’re happy to confirm that we have already re-booked for next year’s event.
Our head of Workplace Learning, Conor Gilligan, presented at the event on our social media platform, we’ve asked him to summarise the approach here for those who couldn’t attend the event:
“Working with the largest fashion retail globally, Zara, part of the Inditex group of brands wanted to provide something different. In partnership we decided to engage learners using the 70:20:10 model. We explored then using social and experiential learning to capture best practice within the 125 Zara stores, this used video based learning which could be captured and shared on the platform instantly.”
If you’d like to find out more about the social learning platform there is a full case study on our website.
