Webanywhere, Europe's largest Moodle Partner
We have been a Moodle Partner since 2005 and have grown rapidly to become Europe's largest Moodle Partner. This means we are authorised by Moodle to develop, enhance and maintain Moodle code on behalf of clients. We also make a significant annual financial contribution to ensure the ongoing development of the core Moodle application.
Moodle for Business e-Learning
Although Moodle LMS has its roots in education, it is increasingly being adopted by business organisations. To illustrate, in a 2010 survey by the eLearning Guild Moodle was named the #1 Learning Management System (for the 2nd year running) with 24% of respondents choosing Moodle as their primary LMS.
At Webanywhere we are strong advocates of Moodle, which is built in open source, and the benefits that it can offer our clients compared with licensed software. We have developed a number of custom modules and blocks that make Moodle work for business e-learning.
Many of our learning solutions use Moodle as the core technology platform, which we can then develop, enhance and integrate with other open source software (e.g. Drupal, Joomla, Wordpress, Course Merchant) and enterprise systems (Salesforce CRM, Google Apps for Enterprise, Oracle) to deliver end-to-end services over the web. We are also Platinum Partners of Totara LMS, the custom distribution of Moodle for enterprise e-learning.
Moodle LMS solutions can offer a great many benefits to business organisations, including:
- License-free code, no 'per seat' fees.
- Wide range of standard functionality that can be readily extended by our development team.
- A highly configurable and scalable solution, capable of serving tens of thousands of users.
We have developed, deployed and maintain customised Moodle LMS solutions for a wide range of clients in several industry sectors including Financial Services, Pharmaceuticals, Health & Safety and Retail.
