Join other Yorkshire-based senior training and HR professionals to learn more about the technology revolution that's mobilising enterprise learning and development (and saving companies £££)
Wednesday 30th March 2011 from 5.30 - 8.00 pm, Queens Hotel, Leeds
Web 2.0 technologies deliver new possibilities for extending enterprise efficiency. In particular, the corporate training function is being transformed by ‘disruptive’ 2.0 technologies such as Open Source learning platforms (e.g. Moodle), Open Content and rapid content development which blend traditional instructor led learning with online courses, quizzes, social media and networking tools. Open source platforms deliver open business models and the agility to meet training and compliance demands head-on without incurring the licensing and support costs of expensive proprietory enterprise portals.
This event, organised by Webanywhere Ltd, will examine the opportunities and issues that enterprise 2.0 solutions are creating for organisations. In particular, we shall look at how organisations are applying these disruptive technologies to save costs and transform teaching, learning and management development.
