Oxfam have a Virtual Journey of France where you can take in the food, culture and 'mode de vie'. It is geared towards 11 and 12 year olds and offers a guide to the country's geography and history. There are interesting pieces of information and stats.
A great resource from the BBC is Talk French which is a video guide to learning the language from beginner through to intermediate level. It is suitable for KS3 upwards and includes vocabulary and grammar games.
An excellent revision tool is the French Crosswords site to help users improve and test their vocabulary. You can print out the crosswords, so that pupils can complete them offline.
The BBC GCSE Bitesize French site can help you to revise for your GCSE exams with revision and test exercises, as well as tips and advice for speaking, listening, reading and writing.
The Channel 4 French section is designed for 9 to 13 year olds and includes games based on key topics, such as family, food, colours, numbers, clothing and directions. It is mainly a collection of fun games and activities.
For intermediate users, Adodoc is a classroom or home study resource that can help pupils to practise their skills and learn about culture, as well as working on French language and comprehension exercises.
