Below are free primary art teaching resources for teachers in UK schools at KS1 and KS2 level to help you save time spent on lesson planning. Key Stage 1
PrimaryResources.net has an Art Lesson Planning section with example plans, teacher tips, artist profiles and more.
The Lesson Sense Crafts Blog has a range of Flash cards and worksheets that are free to download.
The Starfall Art Gallery introduces six famous artists. It shows the work of Vincent Van Gogh, Georges Seurat, Paul Gauguin, Marc Chagall, Ernie Barnes and Dorothy Strait.
Key Stage 2
The BBC Primary Art site is designed for 9 to 11 year olds and includes video guides on creating themed pictures.
NI Curriculum has a microsite with a Malleable Materials section. This offers a video guide to using clay work in the classroom.
Welsh resource Circles in Pictures is based on the work of Kandinsky and is ideal for use with an interactive whiteboard. With a tool bar and colour palette, pupils can create their own circles.
