Business Analyst

Due to continued expansion, an opportunity has now arisen for a Business Analyst to join our team.

We are based in the centre of Keighley and situated a few minutes from the train station with excellent transport links from Leeds, Bradford and surrounding areas. The working hours are Monday to Friday 8.00am to 5.00pm.

THE ROLE

To assist the Project Manager(s) with administrative requirements for diverse technology projects. Co-ordinating business requirements, writing documentation based on subject matter expert input, drawing diagrams and tracking progress.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Process and project activities including:
  • Participate in the Project Management Community of Practice
  • Assist Project Manager(s) with administrative requirements
  • Produce and maintain project plans
  • Communicate with key stakeholders to collect business requirements
  • Undertake cost benefit analysis
  • Add work breakdown schedule
  • Technical diagram production
  • Process design / documentation
  • Activity assignment (diary / time management) and tracking
  • Project status update reports

ESSENTIAL SKILLS

  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Confident with Microsoft Windows / PC literate and office applications - word processor, diagram editor, spreadsheet, presentation
  • Able to "keep a cool head" in a fast paced environment
  • Attention to detail - especially when following a process
  • A genuine interest in "best practice" ways of doing things
