Student Jotter Video Review by Learning Light
July 9, 2012 // Comments OffDavid Patterson, director of e-learning consultancy company Learning Light, came into Webanywhere and reviewed a selection of our products, with one being our e-portfolio and safe social networking site Student Jotter.
As e-portfolios have had a bad press, the joining up of social networking with e-portfolios is in David’s view an imaginative thing to do and therefore results in him giving Student Jotter two thumbs up.
David begins by praising the software’s engaging design and features. He notes that both the multimedia support and traditional social networking tools will help channel young people’s enthusiasm.
He then elaborates on the social networking aspect of the software, praising its potential to support collaborative communication and support learning while maintaining the highest possible e-safety standards.
David also gives full marks to the other features of Student Jotter including the option for teachers to monitor, mark and assess student performance.
He rounds up his review by focusing again on the innovative nature of the product, mentioning the product’s 24/7 web based availability, ease of use, e-safety and security and the unlocking of social networking.
