Teacher training event: Innovative ICT for primary schools

Leave “demotivating and dull” ICT behind and take advantage of the new freedom granted to teachers. Take part in hands on training, try out new ideas, and get expert advice on the future of ICT in the classroom.
Sessions at the training event
Using Whitehill’s state-of-the-art ICT suites, you will take part in four activities:
- VLEs and e-portfolios – improve teaching & learning with e-learning solutions
- Stretch your budget – develop ICT provision with free Google Apps
- Apple in education – discover how to use iMac technology in the classroom
- F1 in primary schools – create a ready-to-race car using online software
The teachers CPD course also includes a full lunch, refreshments and short presentations by Webanywhere MD Sean Gilligan and Whitehill Community Academy Principal Roy Hepplestone.

Time: Friday 15th of June 2012, 9.30am-4.00pm, – delegates are welcome to arrive from 9am for introductions.
