Learnanywhere: Does your primary school have a learning platform?

Does your school have a virtual learning environment?

If you work in a primary school you’ve probably already used a learning platform or virtual learning environment (VLE). However, you’ll have noticed that a lot of the the features just aren’t suited to your school. The designs are usually dull. Even worse, the applications are hard for teachers and students to use. Most of the time VLEs are just a missed opportunity for busy primary school teachers.

We think everyone should have the opportunity to make use a VLE, so we’ve created Learnanywhere.

What is Learnanywhere?

Learnanywhere is a powerful, yet affordable learning platform, designed specifically for primary schools.

Accessible over the net, it’s used by pupils, parents and staff to access a range of interactive games, lessons and content.

The Learnanywhere learning platform

The benefits for primary schools

We’ve designed Learnanywhere with a clear, easy-to-use interface that has been developed to support the specific teaching and learning objectives of Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

Teachers can create lessons filled with interactive content. This can then be differentiated with just a few clicks. Using a VLE, you can make sure your teaching engages learners of all ages and abilities.

Children can use the learning platform too. Built with young students in mind, the platform is colourful, entertaining and intuitive. There’s loads to explore, with games, quizzes and other applications available to use.

We’re also well aware of the issues surrounding e-safety, so we’ve added a safe, secure messaging service for all users.

Learnanywhere can even help your staff overcome other issues. We’ve added features to make your school more inclusive. Pupils and parents can now access work, results and news, meaning everyone is involved in school life.

We’re missing something…

The Learnanywhere VLE doesn’t work on it’s own though. We know new technology needs outstanding teachers and staff to make it work. What we want is to give you the opportunity to use it, and make a real difference in your school community.
